I
choose, for you and I, health. Let's not be a statistic.
Over
the weekend I really studied the outcomes of disease on our population.
As I have opened my practice up to everyone, including men and
children, I am truly amazed by how much disease manifests itself in our
daily lives. Over 133 million Americans, or greater than 45% of our
population, have at least one chronic condition. As I sat out in the
sun and thought about these issues, I really became even more motivated
to inspire the people that I come in contact with to realize that there
is a much better way to live. We really don't have to be a victim to our
bodies. Or, in reality, our bodies do not have to be a victim to us.
However, we need to understand what is going on.
You
may read this Daily Dose and think, "I don't need to finish this one
because it does not relate to me." Not so fast. Please hear me out!
When
I say chronic disease I am talking about arthritis, cancer, asthma,
muscle aches, fatigue, cardiovascular disease, dementia, ADD, insomnia,
depression, diabetes and the list really does get longer and longer in
each passing year. Many of us have more than one chronic medical
condition.
Lung disease, for example, is one of
the most common medical conditions that are out there. Somewhat
disconcerting is that a lot of disease goes totally undiagnosed. This
week, I am going to spend the time of the Daily Dose talking about some
of the more common conditions that are out there that oftentimes will
go undiagnosed.
Keep an eye on my blog, www.DrHaendigesBlog.com. The
Headache section is getting updated this day!
If
you are interested in knowing what the common conditions are and how do
they relate to you or to the people you love, make sure you "take your
Daily Dose" this week!
Tomorrow, Asthma is the
topic of the day!
See you folks in the morning at
9:30 and again at 5:30 for our Health and Weight Loss Seminar!
